Resident Advantage

The Resident Advantage Homeownership Program, offered exclusively to Newark residents, helps first-time home buyers purchase homes to rehabilitate as their primary residence.  is Eligible properties are sold to qualified applicants who can demonstrate a clear intent and ability to undertake the rehabilitation and reside in the property as their principal residence for five (5) consecutive years after the buyer receives a Certificate of Occupancy or Continued Occupancy.
